Description

Tender Turkish kebabs served with fluffy rice, an authentic Middle Eastern dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the kebab mixture by mixing ground lamb, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and egg.
  2. Shape into patties or skewers.
  3. Cook kebabs on a grill or in a pan until browned.
  4. Boil rice in water with oil until fluffy.
  5. Serve kebabs over rice.
