Description

A hearty casserole combining ground beef, cheese, and nacho flavors for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag (13 oz) tortilla chips, crushed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Optional toppings: jalapeños, olives

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until beef is browned; drain fat.
  3. Stir in black beans, taco seasoning, and salsa; simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer crushed tortilla chips, beef mixture, and shredded cheese.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Top with sour cream and optional toppings before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add chopped jalapeños to the beef mixture. This casserole can be prepared ahead and refrigerated.
