Crispy baked chicken coated in a spicy-sweet hot honey glaze, delivering a perfect crunch without frying.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
  2. In three separate bowls, place flour (seasoned with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder), beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with cayenne pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, then coat thoroughly in panko mixture. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until chicken is cooked through and coating is golden and crispy.
  5. While chicken bakes, whisk together hot sauce, honey, and melted butter in a small bowl. Brush the hot honey glaze over the chicken during the last 5 minutes of baking.
