A juicy grilled flank steak topped with fresh Caprese salad and a drizzle of balsamic glaze for a burst of flavor.

For the Crust:

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Rub flank steak with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  3. Grill steak for 6-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  4. Arrange sliced mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil leaves on top of the sliced steak.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
