For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup biscuit baking mix
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess fat and stir in salt and pepper.
  3. Spread beef mixture in a pie plate and sprinkle with cheese.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together milk, biscuit mix, and eggs. Pour over beef and cheese.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
