For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp dried parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes, then transfer to a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Add milk and melted butter, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in shredded cheddar cheese, then drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture over the beef.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and cooked through.
