For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp dried parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes, then transfer to a baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Add milk and melted butter, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese, then drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture over the beef.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and cooked through.
