For the Crust:
- 1 9-inch pie crust (unbaked)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans evenly over the bottom of the unbaked pie crust.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the chocolate chips and pecans in the pie crust.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Let the pie cool completely before slicing and serving.
