For the Crust:

  • 1 9-inch pie crust (unbaked)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  2. Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans evenly over the bottom of the unbaked pie crust.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture over the chocolate chips and pecans in the pie crust.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Let the pie cool completely before slicing and serving.
