For the Crust:
- 1 9-inch pie crust (unbaked)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, and salt.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold in shredded coconut and pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool completely before serving.
