For the Crust:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325Β°F (165Β°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  3. Gradually add milk while whisking continuously.
  4. Pour the mixture into ramekins and place them in a baking dish filled with hot water (water bath).
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
