For the Crust:

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes per side). Remove and slice into strips.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet along with cooked pasta. Toss to coat everything in the sauce.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
