For the Crust:
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Cooking spray
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat with cooking spray.
- In a shallow bowl, mix panko, parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In separate bowls, place flour and beaten eggs.
- Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place tenders on prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray tops with cooking spray.
- Bake for 15 minutes, flip, then bake 10-15 more minutes until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
