Crispy Baked Chicken Tenders

Juicy chicken tenders with a crispy, golden crust, baked to perfection without deep frying.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat with cooking spray.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix panko, parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In separate bowls, place flour and beaten eggs.
  4. Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Place tenders on prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray tops with cooking spray.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, flip, then bake 10-15 more minutes until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
