A delicious and spicy dish featuring crispy chicken tossed in a tangy chilli sauce.

For the Crust:
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp red chilli flakes
- 1/2 cup spring onions, chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, mix the chicken with cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, and beaten egg. Coat well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add the bell peppers and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar, and honey in a bowl. Pour this sauce into the pan with the peppers.
- Add the fried chicken pieces and toss well to coat with the sauce.
- Sprinkle red chilli flakes and spring onions. Stir for another minute and serve hot.
