For the Crust:
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon fillets for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice.
- Place seared salmon on the prepared baking sheet. Brush generously with the honey garlic sauce.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
