For the Crust:
- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
- 2 green bell peppers, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the beef strips on all sides, then transfer to the crock pot.
- Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic to the crock pot.
- In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, ginger, and black pepper. Pour over the beef and vegetables.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
