Crunchy Chicken Tostadas

Crispy tostadas topped with shredded chicken, fresh veggies, and a zesty lime crema.

For the Crust:

  • 4 tostada shells
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 cup crumbled queso fresco
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a small bowl, mix sour cream, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to make the lime crema.
  2. Heat refried beans in a small saucepan over medium heat until warm.
  3. Spread a layer of refried beans onto each tostada shell.
  4. Top with shredded chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and red onion.
  5. Drizzle with lime crema and sprinkle with queso fresco and cilantro.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy.
