For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Whisk in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of cheesecake mixture over brownie batter. Swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly jiggly. Cool completely before slicing.
