For the Crust:

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup softened butter (for filling)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Add pumpkin puree, warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Knead until smooth.
  2. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  3. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly.
  4. Roll tightly into a log and slice into 12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  6. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
