For the Crust:
- 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced into rounds
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the carrots, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and water. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until carrots are tender and glazed. Garnish with parsley if desired.
