For the Crust:

  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the carrots, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and water. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until carrots are tender and glazed. Garnish with parsley if desired.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
