Gnocchi with Truffle Parmesan Sauce

Fluffy homemade gnocchi served with a rich truffle-infused parmesan cream sauce.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 lbs russet potatoes
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp truffle oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Boil potatoes until tender, peel and mash them while still warm.
  2. Mix mashed potatoes with flour, egg, salt, and pepper to form a dough.
  3. Roll dough into ropes and cut into 1-inch pieces to form gnocchi.
  4. Boil gnocchi in salted water until they float to the surface (about 2-3 minutes).
  5. In a separate pan, melt butter, add heavy cream, parmesan, truffle oil, and garlic powder. Simmer until thickened.
  6. Toss cooked gnocchi in the sauce and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
