For the Crust:
- 1 lb flank steak, sliced into strips
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Add the steak strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak strips in a single layer, reserving the marinade.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove steak strips and set aside.
- Pour the reserved marinade into the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the steak strips to the pan, tossing to coat with the glaze. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
