For the Crust:

  • 1 lb flank steak, sliced into strips
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Add the steak strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak strips in a single layer, reserving the marinade.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove steak strips and set aside.
  5. Pour the reserved marinade into the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return the steak strips to the pan, tossing to coat with the glaze. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
