For the Crust:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup pumpkin butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and yeast. Add warm milk, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread pumpkin butter evenly, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll tightly and slice into 8 rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 350Β°F for 25-30 minutes.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
