For the Crust:
- 4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Place the sweet potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter, honey, heavy cream, salt, and cinnamon.
- Mash the sweet potatoes with a potato masher or blend with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Serve warm.
