For the Crust:

  • 4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Place the sweet potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter, honey, heavy cream, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Mash the sweet potatoes with a potato masher or blend with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Serve warm.
