Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes

Description

Creamy, fluffy mashed potatoes made quickly in the Instant Pot.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Add potatoes and water to Instant Pot. Secure lid and set to Manual High Pressure for 10 minutes.
  2. Quick release pressure when done. Drain any remaining water.
  3. Add butter, cream, salt, and pepper to potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy.
  4. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
