For the Crust:
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Zest of 1 large orange
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice

- Pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs, then mix in melted butter, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until smooth. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.
