Pot Baked Potatoes

  • Author: Chef Emy

Description

A simple and delicious way to bake potatoes in a pot for a tender and flavorful side dish.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then pat them dry.
  2. Poke each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape during cooking.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Rub the seasoned oil mixture evenly over each potato.
  5. Place the potatoes in a large pot and add the water to the bottom of the pot.
  6. Cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid and cook over medium-low heat for about 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
  7. Remove the potatoes from the pot and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
