Seafood Boil Recipe

Description

A flavorful and hearty seafood boil with shrimp, crab, corn, and potatoes, seasoned to perfection.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, deveined with shells on
  • 1 lb crab legs
  • 1 lb mussels or clams
  • 4 ears of corn, halved
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cups water or seafood stock

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large pot, bring water or seafood stock to a boil. Add Old Bay seasoning, garlic, onion, and lemon slices.
  2. Add potatoes to the pot and cook for 10 minutes until slightly tender.
  3. Add corn and crab legs, then cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp and mussels or clams, cooking for 3-4 minutes until shrimp are pink and mussels/clams open.
  5. Drain the seafood and vegetables, then toss with melted butter.
  6. Serve hot with extra Old Bay seasoning and lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
