Delicious and easy shrimp tacos with a zesty lime and cilantro slaw.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  3. In another bowl, mix shredded cabbage, cilantro, and lime juice to make the slaw.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  5. Assemble tacos by placing shrimp on tortillas, topping with slaw, sour cream, and avocado slices.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
