For the Crust:
- 1.5 lbs beef stew meat
- 1 onion, sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 8 oz egg noodles, cooked
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Place beef, onion, mushrooms, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until beef is tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream and flour. Stir into the slow cooker and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
- Serve the stroganoff over cooked egg noodles.
