For the Crust:
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmer for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
