For the Crust:
- 1 lb flank steak
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp prepared horseradish
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 4 ciabatta rolls
- 1 cup arugula
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Season the flank steak with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, horseradish, and lemon juice to make the sauce.
- Toast the ciabatta rolls lightly.
- Spread horseradish sauce on the rolls, then layer with sliced steak, arugula, and red onion.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
