For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add yogurt, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
