Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line an 8Γ8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and 3/4 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture until combined.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
- For the cheesecake layer: Beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar until smooth. Add egg yolk and vanilla, mixing until incorporated.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cheesecake mixture over the dough and swirl with a knife or toothpick.
- Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool completely before cutting.
