- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in sliced potatoes, salt, and black pepper.
- Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and cover until melted.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes. Pairs well with a side salad.
