For the Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let brownies cool completely, then arrange strawberry slices on top.
- In a small saucepan, heat chocolate chips and heavy cream over low heat, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over strawberries.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set the chocolate before slicing.
