For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let brownies cool completely, then arrange strawberry slices on top.
  7. In a small saucepan, heat chocolate chips and heavy cream over low heat, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over strawberries.
  8. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set the chocolate before slicing.
