Description

This festive cheese ball roll is quick to make and delicious. Include it on your holiday appetizer table alongside crackers.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • Β½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • β…“ cup finely chopped dried cranberries
  • β…“ cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped onion
  • ΒΌ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Additional finely chopped dried cranberries for coating
  • Additional finely chopped walnuts for coating
  • Crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, stir together cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, cranberries, walnuts, onion, and garlic powder until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands or plastic wrap.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, up to 1 day.
  4. Before serving, roll the cheese ball in additional chopped cranberries and walnuts.
  5. Serve with crackers.

Notes

For best results, prepare the cheese ball a day ahead and roll in coating about 1 hour before serving.
