- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup chopped dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for coating)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the shredded cheddar, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in the chopped cranberries and most of the walnuts, reserving some for coating.
- Cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Roll the mixture into small balls using your hands.
- In a shallow dish, combine the remaining walnuts and chopped parsley.
- Roll each cheese ball in the walnut and parsley mixture to coat.
- Place on a serving platter and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with crackers or veggies.
Notes
For best flavor, refrigerate overnight. Can be made up to 2 days ahead.
