A classic dish featuring chicken breasts stuffed with ham and cheese, then breaded and baked to golden perfection.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices ham
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Pound chicken breasts to 1/4-inch thickness. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Layer each chicken breast with 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese. Roll up tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  4. Dredge each rolled chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Place in the prepared baking dish and drizzle with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and chicken is cooked through.
