Description
A classic Southern dessert with layers of vanilla pudding, fresh bananas, and vanilla wafers.

For the Crust:
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups cold water
- 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 (11 oz) box vanilla wafers
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk and cold water until well combined.
- Add the instant vanilla pudding mix and whisk for 2 minutes until thickened. Refrigerate for 5 minutes.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until smooth.
- Layer vanilla wafers, banana slices, and pudding mixture in a serving dish. Repeat layers.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
