- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 pound)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
Cook chicken until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Adjust seasoning as needed.
