Description

Juicy parmesan chicken smothered in a rich, creamy garlic butter sauce that’s bursting with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 pound)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

Cook chicken until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Adjust seasoning as needed.
