Description

This creamy chicken dish combines tender chicken with sun-dried tomatoes and fresh basil in a rich sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes; sauté for 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and basil; bring to a simmer.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and cook until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

Pair with pasta or vegetables for a complete meal. For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
