- 2 pounds beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 green bell peppers, sliced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
Instructions
- Place the beef strips in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, beef broth, ginger, and garlic; pour over beef.
- Add sliced onion and bell peppers to the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until beef is tender.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and cold water; stir into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- Serve hot over rice.
Notes
For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes.
