Description

A hearty slow-cooked dish featuring beef strips, bell peppers, and soy sauce for a flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 green bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Place the beef strips in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, beef broth, ginger, and garlic; pour over beef.
  3. Add sliced onion and bell peppers to the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until beef is tender.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and cold water; stir into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  6. Serve hot over rice.

Notes

For a spicier version, add crushed red pepper flakes.
