- 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
- 8 slices bacon, chopped
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- cooked egg noodles for serving
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet until crispy, remove and set aside, leaving drippings.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and mushrooms until softened.
- Add chicken and cook until browned.
- Stir in flour, then add broth and bring to a simmer.
- Mix in sour cream, bacon, salt, and pepper.
- Serve over egg noodles.
Notes
Adjust salt to taste. Can add paprika for extra flavor.
