- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it simmers.
- Add the chocolate chips to the hot cream and stir until melted and smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Gradually mix the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
- Pour the filling into the pie crust.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set.
- Allow to cool completely before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
