Quick and delicious chicken fajitas made in the air fryer with tender chicken, bell peppers, and onions, seasoned to perfection.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fajita seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro, lime wedges, and sour cream for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, combine chicken strips, bell peppers, and onion.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with fajita seasoning, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the chicken and vegetable mixture in the air fryer basket in a single layer (cook in batches if necessary).
  5. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are tender.
  6. Serve the fajita mixture on warm tortillas with fresh cilantro, lime wedges, and sour cream.
