For the Crust:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 cups finely chopped apples
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in large bowl
- In separate bowl, beat eggs with milk and melted butter, then stir in chopped apples
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined
- Drop 1/4 cup portions onto prepared baking sheet, bake for 18-22 minutes until golden
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze, drizzle over cooled fritters
