Juicy chicken breasts topped with pesto and melted cheese, baked to perfection.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Transfer chicken to a baking dish. Spread pesto evenly over each breast.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally.
