For the Crust:
- 1 lb smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sausage pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix BBQ sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the sausage bites and stir to coat evenly.
- Simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and coats the sausage.
- Serve warm with toothpicks for easy eating.
