Description

Crispy, cinnamon-sugar coated churro bites perfect for snacking.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, 2 1/2 tbsp sugar, salt, and 2 tbsp vegetable oil. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until a dough forms.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip and pipe 1-inch pieces into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown.
  5. Drain on paper towels, then toss in cinnamon-sugar mixture while still warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
