For the Crust:
- 1 cup water
- 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a saucepan, combine water, 2 1/2 tbsp sugar, salt, and 2 tbsp vegetable oil. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until a dough forms.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip and pipe 1-inch pieces into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels, then toss in cinnamon-sugar mixture while still warm.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
