For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups medium pasta shells
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Brown ground beef with onion in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a simmer, then stir in pasta shells. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 15-18 minutes until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
