For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz medium pasta shells
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Add uncooked pasta shells, stir to combine, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
