For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onion and garlic; cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add uncooked pasta shells, stir to combine, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until pasta is tender.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
